Airbus Corporate Jet Centre introduces AviationGlass' brand new technology in vip cabins

AviationGlass & Technology has recently agreed on the provision of a new standard in business aviation with Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in Airbus Corporate Jet vip cabin completion and customized nose to tail services.

This is the first time that a complete range of glass and mirrored glass products offered by AviationGlass & Technology BV is introduced in an Airbus ACJ320 corporate jet. These improvements will substantially increase the quality and comfort that corporate jet customers have come to expect.

The crystal-clear, UV resistant glass provides a new in-flight experience by enhancing the feeling of space and elegance. The glass is 20-25% lighter than its polycarbonate alternative and it has a the superior resistance against damage and scratches. There is a growing need in the industry of aircraft applications to reduce life cycle costs by developing more sustainable aviation materials and equipment.

Benoit Defforge ceo of Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), comments: “ACJC always seeks to pursue proven advances in aerospace technologies to deliver real benefits to our customers. Our team worked closely with AviationGlass & Technology to introduce this cutting edge technology in business aviation and we believe AviationGlass is the way forward in offering a unique experience for our exclusive corporate jets.”

AviationGlass & Technology will supply the AeroGlass Lens and AeroGlass Mirror to the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre by the end of 2013.
