Sazma Aviation, a new helicopter operator based in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, has selected Heli-One to provide tip-to-tail, power-by-the-hour (PBH) support to its first Sikorsky S-76 C++ aircraft.
Sazma Aviation, a subsidiary of Sabah Air, provides helicopter services to customers operating in the Malaysian offshore oil-and-gas sector, where there has seen rapid growth in recent years. Sazma's S-76 C++ aircraft is expected to average 80 flight hours per month.
Heli-One is a segment of CHC Helicopter, the operating company of CHC Group Ltd.
As well as PBH support, the five-year deal includes a dedicated consignment stock of S-76 parts on-site in Malaysia, as well as access to Heli-One's expansive spare-parts inventory.

Heli-One's helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul services include certifications and expertise on aircraft and engines from a broad range of manufacturers, including, Airbus, Sikorsky, AgustaWestland, Turbomeca, Pratt & Whitney and General Electric.
