ExecuJet raises regional profile at Istanbul Airshow

ExecuJet Aviation Group, the leading global business aviation organisation, is celebrating a successful Istanbul Airshow, which was held last week at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. The airshow, which is held every two years, included 45 aircraft on static display and more than 18000 attendees. ExecuJet exhibited in partnership with aviation services company Bilen Air Service. Mark Hardman, operations director/AOC accountable manager - Middle East, ExecuJet Aviation Group, says: "Turkey is a growing and strategically important aviation market, being a bridge between East and West. The Istanbul Airshow provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase our FBO services to Turkish operators and suppliers and increase our profile in the region." Tolga Asan, assistant general manager, Bilen Air Service, adds: "The show was the best yet with a strong attendance by industry professionals. We are pleased to have been part of such as successful show." ExecuJet and Bilen Air Services joined forces in 2011, offering FBO services at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, before extending the partnership to include aircraft handling at Sabiha Gokchen Airport in 2012. ExecuJet and Bilen's FBO at Istanbul Atatürk Airport is located in the General Aviation Terminal and includes two lounges, private parking, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a meeting room and a gift shop. Passengers flying into Sabiha Gokchen Airport are handled by Bilen Air Service FBO staff and have the use of facilities in the GA terminal.
