ITP participates in MRO Aviation Week Europe Fair Madrid 2014

ITP will participate in the MRO Aviation Week Europe Madrid taking place this week at IFEMA. This fair gathers every year the most important companies in the maintenance area or MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) of aeronautics, as well as other relevant sector actors such as airlines, OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and suppliers. The fair is rotating between different European cities and this year is held in Madrid.

ITP will be attending the fair through a stand of its In Service Support division. Visitors will be able to access the ITP In Service Support stand on October 8th (between 9am and 5pm) and 9th (between 9am and 3pm).

Recently, ITP In Service Support has expanded its service portfolio with the acquisition of the license DOF (Designated Overhaul Facility) for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW100 models, hence strengthening its position in the regional aviation market.

Also noteworthy the Rolls Royce certification, as one of the eight approved centers in the world, for the maintenance of its new RR300 turboshaft for Robinson R66 helicopters at the ITP subsidiary in Malta, thereby increasing its network service to all ranges of helicopters operators worldwide.

The main ITP In Service Support services that will be presented during this week at the MRO Aviation Week Madrid are the following:

· An on-site maintenance service team at the customer's facilities, whether for an unscheduled AOG or a planned revision in a hot zone.

· On-the-job training for maintenance technicians, incorporating best practices and training solutions; an online, e-learning platform developed for ITP

· Logistics solutions such as rental of engines, parts supply in AOG, consignments.

· Engineering solutions such as tooling design, technical support during operations, consulting and management of technical publications.

· Software solutions, for fleet management (FMS), to engine health monitoring (EHM), or stock management and procurement (SPRINT), and control and planning workshops.

· Tailored-made solutions developed in order to minimize maintenance costs, fleet engineering support and contracts tailored to the individual needs of each customer.

ITP ISS provides MRO services on five continents for a wide range of engines, accessories, components and parts for regional aviation, airlines, business aviation, helicopters and industrial and defense applications. Among its portfolio are included PW100/200, CT7/T700, TFE731, RR250, ATAR, TPE331, PT6T-3, PW100, CF700, EJ200, LM2500 and F404 engines. ITP ISS has a significant number of centres to meet customers' demands in Ajalvir and Albacete, in Spain; ITP York and ITP Repair UK , in UK; Aeromaritime in Malta; and Mesa, Arizona, USA, in addition to sales offices in Colombia and Hyderabad, India. Since the maintenance activity began, over 10,000 engines have been processed in ITP centers.
