This year for the first time, DC Aviation, the leading Stuttgart-based jet operator, will participate in the MRO Conference and Exhibition Europe in Madrid, Spain. "By participating, we hope to present our competences in this field to the broadest possible public.“ explains Michael Kuhn, the company's ceo.
DC Aviation is an EASA-Part-145 certified maintenance company that has been offering line and base maintenances services for various types of executive jets and the Airbus family since 1999. Recently, DC Aviation obtained the Cayman Island OTAR 145 certification and is therefore now in a position to extend its services to include VP registered aircraft.
At its headquarters on Stuttgart airport, DC Aviation operates one of the industry-wide largest hangars with a footprint of 5.000 m2. At the same location, the company keeps a spare parts inventory of a value of over Euro 6.5 million, plus a large number of special tools for certain types of aircraft and testing equipment. At the same location, it also operates a maintenance logistics center. "By having important spare parts instantly available, we are capable of shortening maintenance times significantly.“, adds Michael Kuhn. DC Aviation operates additional maintenance facilities in Cologne and Schwäbisch Hall.
The cutting-edge hangar on Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai that was recently opened for business, also offers aircraft maintenance services. It has enough space to house four business-travel airplanes of the ACJ type or of the BBJ heavy jet category plus two ultra long-range business jets like the Falcon 7X, the Bombardier Global Express, or the Gulfstream G550.
MRO Madrid takes place October 8 - 9, 2014 on the grounds of the IFMEA. DC Aviation will be presenting its current service capabilities on booth # 1705.
