As a key player in solar protection solutions, Vision Systems will present its range of shading systems including its latest innovation in the electronically dimmable windows range, Nuance multizone, at the 2014 NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida.

Vision Systems' multizone window provides enhanced comfort to the passenger thanks to a more accurate regulation of the light as each zone can be controlled independently. Based on SPD technology (suspended particle device), each section of the window dims instantly (less than five seconds) from clear to dark to reduce light, glare and heat entering the aircraft. Darker from the top down like a Venetian blind, from the bottom up, or by adjusting any zone at any level, without separation marks on the window, this multizone solution also offers a sleek, elegant design adapted to the vip style of business aviation.

Vision Systems' SPD solutions contribute to cooling costs reduction as they are at their darkest possible state when the aircraft is on the ground thus maximizing heat rejection and keeping interiors cooler. They also block more than 99.9% of UV light which protects the interior from fading, and there fabrication allows noise reduction to keep the cabin quieter. Furthermore, these systems have no moving parts, reducing maintenance costs and downtime. They can be controlled by simply pushing a button at the window or from a control panel or personal electronic device such as a wireless tablet.

In this range of solar protection systems, Energia will also be featured. Energia is a unique green solution for solar protection, an electronically dimmable window producing its own energy from the sun thanks to transparent photovoltaic cells integrated into the glazing that allows energy storage in a battery to provide the dimmable window with electricity.

Vision Systems' electronically dimmable windows are now available in different colors and different amplitudes between clear and ultra-dark to tailor responses to the requirements of the customers, and also include a window or partition solution for complete privacy (opaque white). These systems can be combined with a motorized roller shade to bring a warmer design in the cabin.

Vision Systems will also present its cutting-edge IFE system, Visi VIP, a scalable and customizable solution dedicated to business jets with various vip options to enhance passenger satisfaction and comfort. Different configurations are possible with one single box and multiple screens: motorized displays up to 65", wireless personal tablets, HDMI screens with full HD resolution. The connectivity option provides internet access, email, video conferencing, and personal smartphone usage over VoIP with guaranteed voice quality (through Satcom 1 receiver). It offers the passenger the possibility to stay connected all the way from the office to the arrival terminal. Other options include HD supports.
