SHY Aviation Ltd has now opened two overseas offices – SHY Aviation LLC in the USA and SHY Aviation SL in Spain.

The three offices in London, Barcelona and Los Angeles – with plans for more to follow in the future – will enable SHY Aviation to enhance the worldwide, 24/7 service that it already offers, by having key individuals on the ground to be able to meet clients and strengthen those relationships.

It is important to chairman Giles Vickers-Jones and managing director Scott Sullivan that they have offices near their clients. The US office in particular, based in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, will be hugely beneficial to film and music industry clients and the SHY team in Barcelona provides fluent Spanish communication for clients where it is desired.

London will remain the SHY head office, and has grown from a four person team, a year ago, to a 16 man team, today. There are two teams in the US and Spain as well and further recruiting still to come in order to match the demand that the company is experiencing.

The reason for the company's rapid growth, since it was started in 2011, comes from the level of customer service provided, competitive pricing, and additional unique offerings such as Fly Protect Global, Shy Aviation's own insurance. This is an insurance that guarantees against any prolonged delay or technical failure of any aircraft that SHY has chartered, clients get up to 130% of the charter price. Aon administers this product and Jubilee, Lloyds of London Insurer, is the underwriter.
