As Germany's main provider of private jets DC Aviation has expanded its fleet of Gulfstreams with one brand-new Gulfstream G450. This means the Stuttgart company is operating a total of 31 business jets ranging from the Learjet to the Airbus 319 CJ - including two Gulfstreams G550, one G450 and one G150. "The Gulfstream G450/G550 segment is powerful with its very spacious and luxurious cabin and an attractive cruising range for long haul flights" says the sales director Jonas Kraft. With a cruising range of 8000 km (4350 nm) the G450 can carry up to 16 passengers nonstop from Berlin to Washington D.C. for instance or from London to Dubai. In the case of the G550 the cruising range of 12 500 km (6750 nm) even the Paris-Beijing flight is possible nonstop - with the same equipment. The luxuriously furnished cabins, which are divided into three private areas, offer amenities such as a full galley for treating passengers to gourmet delicacies for instance, and numerous entertainment systems such as satellite telephone, personal monitors and CD/DVD players, so there is no risk of boredom. A conference area and two comfortable divans invite passengers to work and to relax. The Jet also provides six comfortable full-size sleeping berths. External cameras as well as an "Enhanced Vision System" and the so-called "PlaneView-Cockpit" provide the pilots with the most modern working conditions and the highest standard of safety.
"We charter Gulfstreams to business and private customers alike. Our clientele appreciates the uncompromising comfort. It is for this reason that we will be continuing to expand these fleet types", explains Kraft. More Gulfstreams are already in the planning for 2009.
However the expansion of the fleet by the former DaimlerChrysler spin-off is not restricted to the fleet of Gulfstreams alone: "In the next few months alone we are expecting another Gulfstream G550, three more Airbus 319 CJ, one Challenger 850, our seventh Legacy 600 and the fifth Learjet 40/45", says Managing Director Stefan Buschle. "With our extremely modern fleet structure and unique concept for service and safety we appear convincing to customers all over the world."
