DC Aviation, Germany´s leading operator of business jets, has expanded its maintenance services. As an EASA-Part-145-certified maintenance operation, DC Aviation has already been offering both line and base maintenance services for various types of executive jets and the Airbus A320 family since 1999. Having recently acquired the Cayman Island OTAR-145-certification, DC Aviation is now in a position to now expand its services to VP-registered aircraft as well, effective immediately.

At the Stuttgart Airport, DC Aviation operates one of the industry´s largest hangars, around 5,000 square meters in size. In addition, it stocks a spare parts inventory worth more than 6.5 million Euros. The company owns a large number of special tools for specific types of aircraft, testing equipment, and a maintenance logistics center. Additional maintenance facilities in Germany are located in Cologne and Schwäbisch Hall.

At Dubai´s Al Maktoum International Airport the recently opened state-of-the-art hangar provides as well maintenance services. There is enough space to accommodate four ACJ or BBJ type aircraft of the heavy business jet category plus two ultra-long range business jets such as the Falcon 7X, Bombardier Global Express, or Gulfstream G550.

DC Aviation, in cooperation with OHS Aviation Services, also offers certified refurbishment and interior/exterior detailing services in Stuttgart. “The cooperation with OHS underlines the high standards of quality that we demand of our executive jets. Moreover this means we can combine the time for maintenance work ideally with work on the interior and thus reduce turnaround times. This not only represents an advantage in terms of time and economy for our customers but is also a perfect complement to our portfolio”, says Michael Kuhn, ceo at DC Aviation.
