Press Release
Issued by Jet Support Services Inc. (JSSI).
May 20, 2014
Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), the leading provider of hourly cost maintenance programs for the business aviation industry, has introduced a new Check-to-Check airframe maintenance program at the 2014 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE).
The new JSSI Check-to-Check airframe program enhances the traditional airframe program, that JSSI has offered since 1997, by adding the flexibility of customized contract terms in order to provide coverage through the remaining term of the next major scheduled airframe maintenance inspection. This new program is structured specifically for each aircraft to create a plan around the major maintenance checks. Check-to-Check is fully transferable and assures aircraft buyers that they will have coverage for an upcoming major inspection.
Paul Dybinski, vice president of Pricing and Product Development at JSSI explains, “As a 5-year term contract, our traditional Airframe program provides coverage for that specific term, which works well for many JSSI customers. The new Check-to-Check program enhances the traditional term by customizing the program around the major inspection schedules. It is completely transferable to a new buyer, because, the buyer essentially steps into the shoes of the seller and takes over the remaining term of the existing contract that has already been accruing for the next event. There is substantial value here for both the seller and the buyer, because the next inspection is already budgeted and planned for, so we believe this will be a value added option for many customers,” added Mr. Dybinski.
JSSI's new Check-to-Check airframe program is currently available for all Falcon, Challenger, and Global Express aircraft, the Global 5000 and 6000, Citation Sovereign+, Gulfstream G450 and G550 aircraft models and the Boeing Business Jet family including the BBJ2 and BBJ3.
