GlobeAir achieves Bronze Safety Status for safe flying

GlobeAir is proud to announce its Bronze Safety Status award after 40,000 hours and six years of flying without any accident.

On Monday May 19th, one day before the opening of the EBACE 2014 in Geneva, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) jointly hosted a workshop dedicated to the safety issues facing aircraft operators in Europe. During this occasion GlobeAir was awarded the Bronze Safety of Flight Award, handed over to flight operations manager Leopold Vicchione and GlobeAir´s safety manager Diego Durjava during the closing ceremony of the safety workshop, which took place at the Palexpo Conference Center in Geneva.

EBAA aims to promote excellence and professionalism amongst all members to enable them the delivery of the best-in-class safety and operational efficiency, whilst representing their interests at all levels in Europe, to ensure the proper recognition of business aviation as a vital part of the aviation infrastructure, supporting local and national economies.

"Our safety record matches or exceeds the safety of the best airlines," says Brian Humphries, EBAA president and ceo. "Indeed such excellence is vital if we are to retain our hard-won public and official confidence in the business aviation sector."

Since its founding in 2007, GlobeAir has operated according to an innovative and, in this industry, unique business model. With a homogenous fleet, floating bases, a dedicated team and outstanding IT support, GlobeAir has managed to optimise its processes, increasing revenue and enhancing customer experience at the same time.

GlobeAir founder and ceo, Bernhard Fragner explained: “Within the last six years on the European Aviation market, GlobeAir has also successfully established its own safety culture as a company DNA since ever on Standards. GlobeAir constantly continues its analysis and workshops in order to further develop the internal safety standards, which will be matching the highest level of the international safety regulations.”

“This process indicates the proactive approach and helps us to improve the safety standards according to the latest experience within GlobeAir Private Jet”, says Bernhard Fragner, ceo of GlobeAir AG. “Safety on board is our highest priority and thanks to an outstanding team, an efficient fleet, GlobeAir has been growing daily without losing sight of its goal to deliver Safe & Smart business travel.”
