EBACE 2014: Global Jet shares its latest news

EBACE is essential for Global Jet as it is Europe's premier business aviation event and a chance to meet buyers from Europe and around the world. Nearly 500 exhibitors will be gathered; more than 50 aircraft will be presented; and over 10,000 visitors are expected; it is definitely an important show for Global Jet, the Geneva-based private jet operator, who will be there to present its different services.

Charter Sales

The expansion dynamic started in 2013 is confirmed for 2014. “Our charter fleet keeps on growing and boasts a modern fleet maintained to exacting standards with a range of different atmospheres and fittings. We were honoured to receive several charter private jets since the beginning of the year, including a vvip Airbus ACJ319 in January. This type of aircraft is a real plus for Global Jet. It offers larger seating capacity and allows us to fly longer and farther routes. Our passengers really appreciate the sophistication and luxury offered on board.” states Léonard Bertholet, charter sales director. Lately, the charter fleet expanded again, with the ar rival of a brand-new 2014 Falcon 7X. This aircraft is one of the mo st technologically advanced business jets on the market. It is elegant, efficient and reliable. “Dassault's flagship aircraft is a perfect match for us! All of our clients' expectations can be met”.

“For 2014 we are working for this expansion trend to continue. We are always eager to offer the best aircraft adapted to our customers' need.”

Aircraft Management

The great results of the charter fleet are, with no doubt, linked to the successful aircraft management strategy set up by Global Jet. “We have never been willing to increase our fleet no matter what! We focus on quality rather than quantity and it seems to be fruitful!” explains Edouard Lehembre, vice president for Aircraft Management. The company now operates nearly 70 aircraft ranging right across the product portfolios of the main manufacturers. “Our main goal is to build a relationship of trust with our exceptional clientele. We take care of one of their most valuable assets, ensuring them peace of mind as their primary return on investment.”

In 2014 Global Jet expects its fleet to keep on growing. “We are working on several projects for our aircraft owners and for potential new clients. We are also developing our field of action: Asia is, for example, one of the new markets we focus on. We have just attended ABACE in Shanghai and it was a great success!

Global Jet China

Global Jet's successful development in greater China was strengthened by the partnership established with the Hangzhou-based Jinggong Business Aircraft Company, part of the well-established and renowned Jinggong Group. This great combination provides the customers with the local resources of Jinggong Group and the truly international experience of Global Jet. The recent approval from the CAAC of the Chinese AOC will allow Jinggong and Global Jet to perform commercial flights under the Chinese regulations.

The Global Jet's Asian fleet keeps on increasing: five aircraft are based in Asia, from the well-renowned manufacturers: Bombardier, Dassault Falcon and Gulfstream. We are now operating a Falcon 2000, a G450, a Falcon 7X, a Global Express XRS and a Global 6000. Other major projects are under process for the upcoming months.

Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions

On the sales and acquisitions market, Global Jet primary advantage lies in their deep knowledge of the business aviation industry.
“Our department holds exclusive sales contracts and we are working on several projects involving new and pre-owned aircraft. With our experience, long-standing relationships with the main manufacturers, efficient networks, administrative and technical expertise, we assist our clients every step of the aircraft sales and acquisitions process by optimizing their resources. The know-how we acquired through chartering and m anaging private jets makes all the difference when it comes to aircraft selection, technical specifications, cabin design and layout, pre-sales inspection and final delivery.” says Florian van der Cruyssen, aircraft sales director.
