Lyon-Bron Airport to exhibit at EBACE

Lyon-Bron Airport, ranked in the top 3 business airports in France, will be exhibiting at the 14th Annual EBACE Exhibition in Geneva from 20th to 22nd May. Airport director, Didier Pianelli, will be at booth 4242 to present Lyon-Bron's latest news to the business aviation industry and press.

2013 was a successful year for Lyon-Bron Airport. The airport registered 6,435 business movements, marking a 1.2% increase from 2012 and cementing its place as a leading business airport in France. Lyon-Bron is committed to offering its business clients a high-quality and efficient service and is constantly evolving to better meet their needs and to make flying to and from Lyon-Bron Airport the most enjoyable experience possible.

Lyon-Bron is also thrilled to announce it has just entered into an exciting new collaboration with the refuelling company Total, as well as with FBO Executive Handling, to offer its clients the very best deal on jet fuel. The agreement offers JetA1 fuel at a significantly lower cost for most active airport's clients, especially the renowned flight support group Colt International, an official partner of Total. Lyon-Bron Airport thus reinforces its position as a preferred choice of Colt International clients flying from across the world. The airport intends to extend this agreement, established in May 2014 and lasting until the end of the year, in order to continue growing as a business platform and to best meet the needs of all operators at the airport.

Lyon-Bron's commitment to investing in its service proposition and particularly in its infrastructure over recent years enabled it to become the first French business airport to use American standard grooving on its 1,820-meter runway in 2012, drastically improving safety at take-off and landing. Today, Lyon-Bron also offers its clients a new fire station, while two new hangars and their associated aprons will be constructed. The taxi lane opened by the business airport in December 2013 will lead to these two new hangars: a 4,200m² and 13.10m high infrastructure that will accommodate all types of aircraft, and an adjoining 900m² office centre that will offer clients a modular space for offices and lounges.

Members of the operations team of Executive Handling, the fixed base operator established at Lyon-Bron, are trained regularly and adhere to the highest standards of security, allowing them to offer business travellers excellent service both on the runway and in the airport terminal.
