An Asian Roadshow was organized in April and conducted free information sessions for Asian business aviation operators. The road show commenced with a business aviation safety, operations & future requirements workshop in Shanghai on April 14th during ABACE featuring presentations, discussions and lively interaction from over 40 attendees. The second stage of the Asian Roadshow was held in Singapore on April 21st followed by Jakarta on April 23rd and the final stage of the Asian Roadshow in Hong Kong on April 25th.
The Asia business aviation market is growing at one of the fastest rates in the world, meeting the demand for the increased operators across the industry, and ensuring that operators, pilots and personnel maintain training that meets international standards are key goals for Asia's business aviation sector.
The four workshops advanced the goal of increasing business aviation safety enhancements and developments in Asia while fostering the participation of Asian business aviation operators implementing aviation safety projects. The topics featured during the four workshops provided a good platform for operators to generate ideas on how to improve future monitoring and influence Business Aviation & International Equipage Requirements while knowing what operators need to continue flying into the future and shape regulatory development. The workshops highlighted current industry best practices for ensuring a strong and efficient business aviation safety operations environment.

The workshops are being hosted by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA ). In addition, the workshops are being sponsored by Bombardier Aerospace, Honeywell, Jet Aviation Business Jets (Hong Kong) Ltd, Rockwell Collines ARINC Direct and Universal Weather & Aviation.
