The August 2008 edition of European Business Air News was distributed to owners and operators of 11,765 business aircraft in Europe and the Middle East, a fleet eight per cent larger than one year ago. The largest increase is in business jets, by 20 per cent to 2,468, while the turbine helicopter fleet has exceeded 5,000 for the first time, having increased by 11.5 per cent.
