INAER Portugal renews ISOs and OHSAS certification

This March, INAER Portugal has been awarded renewal certificates confirming adherence and compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001:2008), environmental management (ISO 14001:2012) and health and safety management (OHSAS 18001:2007).

The awards, granted by the Portuguese Institute for Accreditation after a rigorous audit process, are recognised internationally and are valid for three years. Compliance with the requirements apply to all of INAER's operating and marketing work in aerial transport, maintenance and equipment, as well as to the training of aviation personnel and emergency medical crews.
The ISO 9001:2008 is the certification for Quality Management Systems and confirms that INAER is using an effective quality management system to meet the needs of its customers. Its environmental management is regulated by the ISO 14001:2012 and certifies that the company promotes environmental protection and pollution prevention while working in harmony with its socio-economic needs.

The OHSAS 18001:2007 certification recognises the implementation of management systems that promote safe and healthy environments for work at INAER. These systems allow work risks to be identified and managed, the potential for accidents to be reduced, ensure regulation enforcement and help improve performance.

These recent certification renewals help build confidence and mean a greater degree of satisfaction for both customers and employees, as well as emphasising INAER's continued commitment to delivering quality in all of its activities.
