Issued by Jetline Aviation.
April 4, 2014
Jetline Aviation Pty Ltd , a dedicated after-market aircraft spare parts supplier, today announced that it has been appointed as sole stocking distributor of Perkins Aircraft Windows in Australia and the Pacific Rim. This appointment highlights Jetline Aviation's commitment to increase its stock availability in its product lines to cater for commuter and regional airlines, small and medium-sized aircraft maintenance organisations, as well as charter operators and private aircraft owners, and will significantly reduce the maintenance costs on the aircraft types for which Perkins currently holds PMA certificates.
Geographically isolated from the rest of the world, operators in Australia and Pacific region have been experiencing an ongoing increase in the costs of maintenance and downtime of aircraft due to the reduction in stock holding of aircraft parts in the country by OEMs and their existing distributors.
“We at Jetline Aviation are thrilled to be the first to bring into Australia a comprehensive range of Perkins Aircraft Windows and stock in Canberra Australia to serve our national and regional customers,” said Jeff Boyd, managing director of Jetline Aviation, “Perkins provides FAA/PMA approved products at a significant savings over the other OEM prices, and adds great value to our effective supply chain. We are delighted that an established and well respected brand like Perkins Aircraft Windows who over 40 years has been manufacturing and developing aircraft transparencies, chose us to represent them in Australia and Pacific market.”
With over 32,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space in Fort Worth, Texas USA, Perkins Aircraft Windows is currently producing a wide range of PMA windows for pressurised general and regional sized aircraft, corporate and business jets such as Cessna 414/421, Conquest 441 and Citation Jet, Beechcraft King Air and Beech Jet, Fairchild Metro, Embraer 120/145, BAe Jetstream 31/41 and IAI Westwind as well as Gulfstream and Bombardier CRJ and Learjet.
“We have been supporting our customers in Australia and Pacific region from our Fort Worth Texas manufacturing plant for in excess of 35 years,” said Jack Brawley, vice president of Perkins Aircraft Windows, “Australia has always been a robust market with an increasing number of operators seeking alternatives to reduce the cost of maintenance on their aircraft fleets. We are very excited to welcome Jetline Aviation to our distributor network and look forward to better servicing our regional customers through the local stocking of our windows, and reduced transit time and freight costs.”
“Having come from an operational and engineering background, our dedicated team at Jetline Aviation have decades of experience in the operation, maintenance, spares and logistics support of regional airlines, general and business aviation,” added by Roger Yang, director of operations at Jetline Aviation. “Strategically located in Fyshwick Canberra, Jetline Aviation is only 5 minutes away from Canberra Airport and a few blocks away from major logistics hubs of domestic and international freight couriers. Windows ordered from us will be despatched on the same day via the customer specified method. We are ready and willing to provide support to our customers when they need it, not when we choose to provide it.”
