Global Jet is pleased to announce its continuing expansion in greater China and Asia. Whether by opening offices or by operating new aircraft, the prestigious Geneva-based private jet company is actively implementing its company in the Far East.
The Global Jet's Asian fleet is continuing to increase: five aircraft are now based in Asia, from the well-renowned manufacturers: Bombardier, Dassault Falcon and Gulfstream. The company is now operating a Falcon 2000, a G450, a Falcon 7X, a Global Express XRS and a Global 6000. Other major projects are under process for the upcoming months.
Global Jet's successful development in greater China has been strengthened by a partnership established with the Hangzhou-based Jinggong Business Aircraft Company, part of the well-established and renowned Jinggong Group. This great combination will provide customers with the local resources of Jinggong Group and the truly international experience of Global Jet. The approval from the CAAC of the Chinese AOC will allow Jinggong and Global Jet to perform commercial flights under Chinese regulations.
Since its arrival in greater China in 2006, Global Jet has taken the time to build its project step by step. The company's goal was to make strategic decisions to properly settle in Asia. The aim was to provide the Chinese clientele with the same high-end quality services offered in Europe (charter sales, aircraft management, sales and acquisitions and design and completion) as these are Global Jet's signature.
“This year, we will attend ABACE, the first and most successful trade show in Asia, with another mind-set. We no longer are a European company working in greater China. We can now claim with pride that we are a China-based operator! Thanks to our partner Jinggong, we have acquired knowledge about the market. Our professional teams on-site are a great plus: they can speak our clients' language and are aware about their culture.” states David Mezenen, chief representative for Global Jet in greater China.
Altogether, Global Jet has had an impressive expansion in 2013, as 15 luxury business jets entered its fleet. “Currently, we are managing nearly 70 aircraft, ranging from the prestigious Airbus A340 throughout the product line of the main manufacturers”, states Edouard Lehembre, vice president for aircraft management.
Global Jet prides itself in offering astonishing service. On board its aircraft, passengers are hosted by crew qualified far beyond normal requirements. The level of service can be compared to the one of legendary palaces.
Since its creation, Global Jet has grown to become one of the leaders in business aviation with a presence in Geneva, Paris, Moscow, Monaco, Luxembourg, Vienna, Beijing and Hangzhou.
