At this year's Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, Rockwell Collins will showcase its latest innovations for air transport and vip cabins, including its PAVES™ family of in-flight entertainment (IFE), its Airshow® 3D Moving Map and its Venue™ cabin management system. The company's cabin solutions bring advanced technologies, inspired by consumer technology, and flexibility to address each customer's needs.
The company also plans to reveal how it has achieved OEM 'technical offerability' for its PAVES™ On-demand IFE system. This will be the first seat-centric IFE system for single aisles to reach this status.
“Our seat-centric single-aisle PAVES On-demand IFE solution is a game changer for passengers and airlines alike, and with the upcoming announcement of it being OEM-backed, we'll be full speed ahead for entry into service,” explained Greg Irmen, vice president and general manager, Flight Controls and Information Systems for Rockwell Collins.
In addition, the company's latest offerings for reliable, high-speed cabin connectivity will be showcased at the ARINC exhibit (#6A50). ARINC was recently acquired by Rockwell Collins and is now part of its Information Management Services business unit.
