CEPA (Central European Private Aviation) has announced that the 2014 CEPA Expo, the annual forum that focuses specifically on issues of aviation operations, growth and business development in central and eastern Europe, will be held for the first time at the prestigious and dramatic Prague Castle.
The event, which will take place from 19th – 20th November, has been growing in popularity since its inception in 2009 and the new location has been chosen to build on the success of the previous four events. Prague Castle is one of the most historical and famous locations in the city and will provide a new and impressive backdrop for the conference which has firmly established itself as an important part of the industry calendar.
CEPA chairman, Roger Whyte commented “CEPA Expo is a unique event and we wanted a location that reflected how important the conference has become. The Expo is well known for its excellent networking environment, dynamic use of technology and for holding entertaining social events. The use of Prague Castle for the two day convention will further enhance the conference experience for the delegates and partners.” Mr Whyte added “The 2013 Expo saw a record number of people attending the event and we are expecting that number to be exceeded again this year. Prague Castle will be a fitting venue for the biggest CEPA Expo yet”.
The objective of the 2014 conference is to concentrate on promoting the safe and economic growth of aviation in the CEPA region, for business aviation operators, scheduled carriers, suppliers and service providers. Leading experts will share their knowledge and experience on topics including safety management systems; cockpit resource management; operating cost control; maintenance planning and budgeting; aviation fuel purchasing; electronic cockpit devices; future compliance requirements for aircraft and operations; fleet upgrading; infrastructure expansion; regulatory and legal developments and financing.
