Press Release
Issued by Vulcanair SpA.
March 6, 2014
On March 5th 2014, CAAC granted Type Certificate Validation (VTC) for Vulcanair's normally aspirated aircraft, P68C, Vr (P68R) and P68 Observer 2. “At Vulcanair we are pleased to be finally able to offer our aircraft to Chinese customers. We believe the Chinese market to be extremely important for the development of our company. China has a vast territory and our aircraft perfectly match the country’s needs for safe, sturdy, easy to fly twin-engine aircraft," says Remo De Feo, ceo of Vulcanair.
"There is a great need for aircraft training in China at the moment. The Vr (P68R) perfectly fits in the light twin trainer market. On another front Vulcanair offers surveillance-ready and aerial-work ready aircraft. These aircraft, represented by the P68 Observer 2, are extremely important for fast growing economies and large countries, where mapping, survey, and surveillance become key elements in the control and management of the territory.
"Finally transport is an issue in China due to the heavy trafficked highways. Thanks to the gradual opening of the Chinese skies, our aircraft the P68C will be able to operate and complement ground transport by offering a safe six-seater twin-engine aircraft which features safety, economy, comfort and long range for long distance use. Vulcanair Aircraft has already appointed a local dealer, China Aero Supply Co. Ltd. and the first aircraft is already en route now flying to China to meet his customer," concludes De Feo.
