Biarritz (LFBZ), the Basque country's flagship regional airport, has invested over €800,000 (US$1,000,000) to significantly enhance its business travel facilities. Entering its 20th year serving the region, these upgrades include a completely refurbished FBO and business aviation terminal.

Biarritz has long been known as providing local and transient passengers and crew with personal, attentive service, along with an array of amenities including efficient customs and immigration support, world-class lounges, on-site rental car facilities, and much more.

Biarritz enjoys a customer base that includes many Fortune 500 flight departments that use LFBZ as a primary fuel stop between the Middle East and North America. Featuring the ability to accommodate all types and sizes of aircraft, its largest runway measures 2,250x45 m (7,382x147 ft). The airport operates from 09hLT to 18hLT in winter, and 09hLT to 21hLT in summer, and extensions are granted upon customer request for early (06hLT) or late departures (23hLT).

Conveniently located between northern and southern Europe, Biarritz is often cited as an economical alternative to many of the congested airports in the north Mediterranean area that have heavy slots and/or parking restrictions.
