FAI Technik secures two notable additions

German general aviation MRO FAI Technik GmbH, a subsidiary of the air ambulance and vip private jet charter operator FAI rent-a-jet AG, is proud to announce that it has been awarded maintenance approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (License No. 155-CAY-AM0-2014) as well as approval from Bermuda’s Department of Civil Aviation (Approval No. BDA/AM0/517).

Michael Rücker, the former general manager of Jet Aviation Dubai, will also be joining Benno Krohn, the former director of customer and production support at Jet Aviation Dubai, at FAI Technik GmbH in April. Benno Krohn now heads FAI's MMC (maintenance control center) in addition to its CS (customer service) department. Rücker is eager to be managing alongside FAI’s technical director, Hanno Zagumin, as commercial director. FAI looks forward to what these experienced gentlemen and new team members can share with the company.

FAI Technik GmbH currently employs a staff of 50 people at its maintenance facilities located at Nuremberg International Airport. The site features a state of the art 5,000 sqm hangar, in addition to a 4,000 sqm space that houses workshops and engineering and administration offices.

FAI Technik GmbH specializes in the line and base maintenance of Bombardier’s product line. This product line includes: Learjet 31/35/36/45/60, Challenger 604/605, CRJ 100/200, and Global Express BD700. It also includes line maintenance for the Dassault Falcon 7X. FAI Technik GmbH is looking forward to a productive year and expanding its expertise in the aeronautic industry. As FAI Technik GmbH continues to expand and make noteworthy additions to the staff, this year is off to an excellent start.
