MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the EASA STC 10014993 for the next generation four-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-14-D-C-F/CF188-30g on the Cessna 335/340/340A powered by all approved piston engines with a max. power rating up to 335 hp at 2700 rpm.
They are also FAA certified by STC No. SA01284WI and SA02510NY.
This STC provides improved performance, maximum durability and reliability, suitable for any weather conditions.
The propeller installation:
- Provides best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operations
- Has bonded on stainless steel leading edge for superior erosion protection of the blades
- Provides a shorter take-off distance by approx. -3% (MTOW, SL, ISA conditions)
- Provides an enhanced climb performance by approx. 5% to 8% (MTOW, SL, ISA conditions)
- Provides an increased cruise performance by approx. 3 to 5 kts (MTOW, SL, ISA conditions)
- Has approx. 20 lbs less weight than the original propellers
- Provides significant inside and outside noise reductions
- Is applicable with all RAM modifications
The high technology natural composite blades have no life limitation and can be repaired even in case of a FOD.
