WSI Corporation announced today that that their WSI Fusion operations management platform now supports flight tracking for Honeywell GDC Datalink customers. WSI Corporation and The Honeywell Aerospace Global Data Center (GDC) continue their strategic collaboration to advance operations management services for clients of GDC Aircraft Datalink Communications. Using the Honeywell position reports, WSI Fusion is enabled with global contiguous flight tracking and monitoring of Honeywell datalink equipped flight departments.
WSI Fusion is a proactive operations management solution that fuses public and proprietary weather information, airspace constraints, flight information, and operational data into a unified and clear operational picture to streamline and enhance operational decision making. WSI Fusion helps dispatchers, operations personnel, and managers stay aware and ahead of changing conditions, mitigate the impact of disruptive events, and ultimately stay on plan, on time, and on budget.
The collaboration significantly enhances the value of services provided to business aviation operators. WSI Fusion flight operation platform users can now combine global forecast services with flight tracking support to secure early insight into disruptive conditions and proactively manage flights.
“Getting customers to the destination on-time and budget, conveniently and safely takes diligent planning and flawless execution by the entire flight operation,” says Mark D. Miller, evp and gm of aviation for WSI Corporation. “Bringing the capabilities of WSI and Honeywell GDC together into respective services will greatly improve planning and execution through all phases of operation.”
