FL Technics Jets adds Bombardier CL-600-2B19 family aircraft to capability list

FL Technics Jets, a global provider of tailor-made maintenance, repair and overhaul services for business aviation has been granted a highly desirable certificate of approval to provide line and base maintenance services for Bombardier CL-600-2B19 family aircraft.

The company has therefore added new aircraft type - a popular Bombardier CRJ100/200/440 and a CRJ200-derived high-class Bombardier Challenger 850 business aircraft to its EASA Part-145 certificate.

Based on economic, social and demographic trends, the global economy is expected to grow by approximately 3% over the next 20 years. As a result, aviation experts predict that by 2030 the global business jets fleet will increase to 30 thousand units: Europe alone is expected to receive up to 1700 business aircraft deliveries between 2013 and 2022. As for the CRJ100/200 family, during the last 6 years the numbers of the carriers operating these aircraft, including the Challenger 850, has risen from 31 to 36. Most of them are operated in Europe, Russia and the CIS. Such statistics indicate that these types of aircraft remain highly popular amongst operators in the region.

“Acquiring the approval to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services to the Bombardier CL-600-2B19 family aircraft definitely marks a new page in our company's history and will significantly accelerate the company's growth on an international scale. We are confident that the long-standing experience and profound understanding of the aviation industry trends will allow us to provide Bombardier CRJ100/200/440 as well as Bombardier Challenger 850 aircraft owners with top quality services and best customer support,” commented the ceo of FL Technics Jets Darius Saluga.

In the beginning of the 2012, FL Technics Jets became the first fully authorised Hawker Beechcraft (HBC) business jets service centre in Eastern Europe. Soon afterwards the company landed an opportunity to become the first authorised service centre for Tronair's ground support equipment in Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS. With the latest additions to the list of aircraft types served by the company FL Technics Jets is rapidly expanding its already extensive capabilities and solid customer base.
