Victor and Dexter sign Russian co-operation agreement

Victor, the world's first jet charter comparison booking marketplace has announced that it has signed a co-operation agreement with Dexter, Russia's first and only nationwide air “taxi” company. Dexter is owned by industrial investors, one of Russia's leading companies and founded by Sergey Generalov and Sergey Nedoroslev, owner of Kaskol.

The co-operation agreement represents the first Russian turboprop operator to be signed by Victor in Russia with a renowned and trusted Russian registered turboprop operator, focusing on the growth of private aviation in Russia. It will enable Victor's international members to travel within Russia on Dexter's ten Pilatus (PC-12) airplanes and Dexter clients will have the advantage of using Victor's sophisticated and easy to use website to book travel with private jets worldwide.

Russia and the CIS region are of particular importance to Victor, as they represent a volume of 6% and a value of 15% of the European jet/turboprop charter market. The Russian heavy jet charter market represent today 20% of the total European charter market. Russia entered the top ten European countries with a total fleet of 162 aircraft (up 4%). New figures on the aircraft fleet, affiliated with the Russian owners look very impressive. Industry experts estimate that their total amount is between 495 to 515 aircraft.

This agreement represents a significant development in Victor's plan to establish the company in the marketplace ahead of Victor's B2C launch in Russia/CIS in March/April 2014, with a fully operational Russian website. Victor aims to bring 100 Russian members to its platform by March/April 2014 and 500 members by end of 2014. Victor has enjoyed an impressive growth of 300% in jet charter bookings over the past twelve months, 64% from bookers in the UK and 46% from outside the UK.

Clive Jackson, founder and ceo, Victor, commented:” We are extremely proud to have signed our first agreement with Dexter, a respected Russian turboprop operator. It represents an important step to establish ourselves in the Russian aviation market and we are determined to provide the best service possible to our Russian members.”

“Our co-operation with Dexter is a positive step forward for Victor and our expansion plans in the Russian and CIS territories”, said Alexis Grabar, who recently joined Victor as senior vice president, responsible for Russia and CIS.

Anton Generalov, head of board of directors, Dexter said: “We are delighted to enter such a partnership. Together we can provide a fast, cost effective and convenient service for European and US clients needing to fly within Russia.”
