Edward Frank, chief executive officer at TWC Aviation, today announced that Jason Berg, a highly respected industry veteran, has joined the company as chief aviation officer. In this senior executive position, Mr. Berg will oversee TWC's flight operations, safety, and maintenance departments, and play a key role in the firm's new environmental initiative. He comes to TWC Aviation after more than nine years at Sun Air Jets, where he served as chief pilot and helped established the company's charter operations. Previously he was lead pilot on a Global Express for a major entertainment company executive for over six years.
"I am delighted to join TWC Aviation at such an exciting time for the company," Mr. Berg said. "I share TWC's commitment to excellent client care, and to the vital importance of environmentally responsible aircraft operations."
Mr. Berg began flying as a hobby. His first job in the field was flying cargo planes. He then piloted Westwind aircraft for a leading business aviation company. Earlier, he worked in law enforcement at the Los Angeles Police Department and in San Luis Obispo, California.
