Alan Lewis to succeed Sir Graham Hall as chairman of Leeds Bradford International Airport

The Board of Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) has announced that Sir Graham Hall has resigned as chairman.

Mr Alan Lewis has been appointed chairman with immediate effect. Mr Lewis, deputy chairman of LBIA, is an advisory partner of Bridgepoint and a former board member of Birmingham Airport.

'Graham has played an important role during a key transitionary phase in the development of LBIA. Management and investors thank him for his contribution and remain ambitious for the future development of the airport under the leadership of chief executive John Parkin." said Alan Lewis.

Sir Graham Hall said: 'Our airport has a sound growth strategy in place and I am proud to have been able to contribute to LBIA's development. I have no doubt that its outstanding executive team will deliver the strategy for the airport and I wish them every success.
