Press Release
Issued by Farnborough Airport Ltd.
September 23, 2013
TAG Farnborough Airport has been granted permission by the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency (AHVLA) to receive animals on inbound aircraft under the Pet Travel Scheme.
Customers will have the opportunity to be accompanied by their pets while travelling both outbound and now inbound, further enhancing the overall experience of using the airport. All pet travel will be subject to aircraft operator approval, and relevant animal checks. The pet travel service at TAG Farnborough Airport is planned to be available to customers by October 2013.
Roger Walker, director airport operations, TAG Farnborough Airport, said: “We are pleased that this new regulation, allowing pets to travel inbound, is now in place. I am sure it will be popular with our customers who want to travel with their pets.”
