The BGAD Cambridge one day business aviation event that took place at Cambridge Airport on Tuesday September 17th provided an excellent day of networking for exhibitors and visitors alike.
Between 450-500 business aviation professionals attended BGAD and there have been many positive comments from exhibitors regarding the quality of the visitors.
A superb line up of aircraft graced BGAD's static display area, including the G280, seen for the first time at a UK event and despite the variable weather conditions, the aircraft personnel were kept busy for much of the day.
Inside the BGAD exhibition area, a dedicated seminar room saw busy sessions discussing important topics that impact our industry and thoughts are already turning towards developing this at future events.
BGAD is know for having an informal atmosphere where serious networking is balanced with more leisurely features. This year PrivateFly led the way with their BGAD Bowling Challenge, where individuals and teams lined up enthusiastically to compete. The sound of bowling ball on skittle echoed through the hall all day. Star players included RSS Jet Centre and Emerald Media's James Bourne.
BGAD's unique one day formula is much appreciated by exhibitors, where participation costs and time investment are strictly controlled. Daniel Tee of Airops Software who has exhibited at all of the nine BGAD events commented: "The quality and numbers were good and the day passed very quickly."
