Operators using Stobart Executive Handling at London Southend Airport from 16 September to 31 October 2013* can land their planes for free as a 'first birthday' gift.

The state-of-the-art facility opened in July 2012 after a half million pound facelift - just in time for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a result, over the past year there has been a huge increase in traffic with hundreds of private aircraft choosing London Southend Airport.

The executive handling area includes a meeting room (complete with full video conferencing technology), a pilot's rest zone and facilities for drivers who are waiting for passengers. There is a large, comfortable lounge with plenty of space for passengers to relax and enjoy refreshments whilst their aircraft is prepared. The whole area is equipped cutting edge security screening equipment, and also offers discreet, direct access - either on foot or by car - to the exclusive business jet parking area.
