Menzies Executive has recently opened a new facility at the General Aviation Terminal at Barcelona Airport and has assigned Yolanda Avalos as the FBO manager.

Menzies was granted permission to operate an FBO for corporate aviation at Barcelona following its ground handling service as a global provider of passenger, ramp and cargo handling services. 

For passengers and crew members, Menzies Executive at Barcelona Airport provides 24/7 handling services such as inmigration and custom support, crew transportation, hotel reservations and catering coordination. Aircraft services include pushback, luggage handling and lavatory drainage.

Amenities at the facility include three new customer lounges, with views to the General Aviation aircraft parking areas, a fully air conditioned area for crews to relax, along with full computer, printer, WiFi capabilities, cable television, and a variety of complimentary snacks and beverages.

FBO manager Yolanda Avalos, who leads the team together with supervisor John Kay added “with the opening of this FBO facility, we can now better meet the needs of our customers in the region and keep up with the demand from the executive aviation sector”.
