Jet Aviation announced during the EBACE 2008 convention that it will add a Falcon 900EX and a Gulfstream G550 to the EMEA & Asia aircraft management and charter fleet, effective July 1, 2008.
The Falcon 900EX and the G550 will be fully managed by Jet Aviation. In addition, the two aircraft will be available for charter services and also will join the Skylliance program, an alliance of selected high-quality air charter companies and aircraft that operate under the same stringent safety and service standards defined by Jet Aviation.
The Dassault Falcon 900 EX will be based out of Zurich and offers comfortable seating for 13 passengers. The Gulfstream G550 will be stationed in Zurich, Switzerland and in Tokyo, Japan. The cabin offers ample space for 14 passengers and has an endurance of close to 14 hours. "With the G550 based in Zurich and Tokyo we are now able to offer this long range aircraft to charter customers both in Europe and in Asia, while the Falcon 900EX is a much sought-after aircraft to destinations in the US, Africa and the Middle East," says Martin Bernegger, senior vice president of Jet Aviation's charter division in EMEA & Asia.
