Bon Soirée caters for busiest weekend in its history

Private Jet fine dining company, Bon Soirée, saw the busiest weekend in its 16 year history during the recent UK bank holiday weekend at the end of May, taking over 350% more orders than that of an average weekend.

The private jet airports of London and the South East were busy because of the Champions League final at Wembley, the Monaco Grand Prix, the start of the spring half term and the bank holiday weekend, which culminated in a massive uplift in orders for food from Bon Soirée, even outperforming the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympic games in 2012.

London Luton was the busiest airport for deliveries, followed closely by Farnborough Airport with Northolt and Biggin Hill Airports in joint third. The team at Bon Soirée, including owner Derek Freeman, worked around the clock from its Hertfordshire base to ensure that every order that came in could be delivered on time.

Freeman said ''It was especially rewarding to have such a busy weekend after returning from a very successful EBACE, where Bon Soirée were presented with the award for most recommended caterer in the UK and Europe, voted by industry users. Together with completing a recent company rebrand and launching our booking app this invigorates our business and team members and provides the drive to handle such a record breaking number of customers, whilst maintaining the standards they would expect from Bon Soirée”.

The most popular foods ordered by both FBOs and operator crews were the cooked breakfast choice of eggs benedict and selections from the new brasserie menu.

The Bon Soirée app can be downloaded from the Apple store or from the website.
