Airport welcome for Alan Barnes, new managing director at JETS

Alan Barnes, the newly appointed managing director at JETS, was officially welcomed at Biggin Hill Airport last week by Robert Walters, business development manager, upon taking up his appointment.

Mr Barnes will hold responsibility for the company's two engineering bases at London Hill and at Bournemouth Airport. Previously he had spent 15 years in a senior management position with Inflite Engineering Services at Stansted.

Robert Walters says that the airport warmly welcomes Alan Barnes with his wealth of experience and proven track record. His company brings important business to Biggin Hill Airport as a Dassault service centre as well as having wide-ranging capabilities for Bombardier, Cessna and Hawker products.

“The investment that JETS will make in infrastructure at Biggin Hill will enable the company to attract new business and create new jobs” says Robert Walters. “The company will also offer FBO facilities here to provide a seamless service to global business aircraft users” he said.

JETS is also a Part M Sub Part G Standalone Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and is owned by Quest Aviation Services who are based in Munich, Germany.
