2013 gets off to roaring start for Global Jet

Nearly 6 months into the year and Global Jet can already draw-up a positive report on 2013.

The Geneva-based company keeps on growing. Its expansion strategy knows no setback. Since January, ten new aircraft joined the fleet. Either private or commercial, these planes confirm the major role Global Jet plays in the private aviation market. With more than 65 aircraft, from all sizes and manufacturers, Global Jet can now claim its European leader position with pride.

The charter sales department of the company has definitely benefited from this expansion. Eight aircraft came to swell the ranks of the commercial fleet: three Gulfstream G550s - one of them is from 2013, equipped with the latest technologies (WiFi, iPhone and iPad stations, massage seats etc), one Global Express XRS, one Falcon 2000EX Easy, one Falcon 50, one Hawker 900XP, and one Cessna Citation CJ2.

To offer a perfect window to all of these aircraft, Global Jet decided to re-design its corporate website. The launch of this new, sleek and improved platform happened in April. Easy to navigate, it features original applications such as 360° interior views of the charter aircraft, interactive floor plans, high- resolution pictures. This website has been created to work on every device. Tablet and smartphone users can now enjoy it at any time. To complete the new website, Global Jet re-thought its electronic brochure as well. “A new marketing strategy is in place, changes will keep on happening during the year”, says Abner Tato, marketing & quality director of the company.

In April, Global Jet attended ABACE in Shanghai. The show was a great success for the company. “China is an emerging market with huge potential. We will definitely develop our relationships with this country throughout our Beijing office. We expect to increase our footprint over there in the next months.”

Global Jet now focuses on EBACE. “We hope the exhibition will have as much of a positive outcome as ABACE did. Being based in Geneva, this show is an amazing window for us and we look forward to meeting all the industry professionals during those three days.”

2013 started on a very positive note for Global Jet. The company hopes this momentum will keep on growing.
