Swiss Aviation Consulting has announced that they have recently been assigned the full fleet monitoring of a leading leasing company. The fleet encompasses around 50 aircraft, including fixed and rotor wing, financed by various subsidiaries located throughout Europe. Due to the geographic fragmentation of the fleet the centralised monitoring will serve to safeguard the clients' assets in an efficient manner.
Fleet monitoring includes the collection of data from the aircraft operators and management companies, data validation, deviation reporting and periodic summary reports. It is a part of Swiss Aviation Consulting's asset management programme which also offers operator audits, aircraft inspections and valuations.
“This assignement is another exciting development for us and we have successfully adapted our internal structures and processes to accommodate the monitoring of these additional aircraft in our daily operation,” says Clarissa Cunz, head of aircraft asset management at Swiss Aviation Consulting.
“The fleet monitoring really brings a number of benefits to our clients in the financial sector,” explains Clarissa. “It is one elemental step in the holistic risk management framework required in today's market. We take it upon ourselves to ease financial institutions and owners of the technical burdens of looking after their assets.” Clarissa continues: “We are glad that, due to high customer satisfaction and trust, our customer base has drastically expanded over the past years. By involving Swiss Aviation Consulting, customers reached an improved comfort level and were able to save money in the long run.”
