Press Release
Issued by AeroEx.
April 23, 2013
AeroEx GmbH is proud to announce that early in 2013 it was awarded the Support Services Affiliation (SSA) certificate by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). AeroEx GmbH is one of the very few aviation organizations in Europe that have qualified for this SSA certificate. This certificate was created by IBAC last year to improve the quality of SMS implementation providers. SSA certified organizations have to demonstrate their capabilities and competencies with regard to IS-BAO to show that they are able to provide the most qualified implementation services to those business aircraft operators who wish to become IS-BAO registered.
Helmut Gottschalk, managing director of AeroEx GmbH commented: “With the IS-BAO SSA certificate and many years of experience in IS-BAO implementation and auditing, AeroEx GmbH is the most experienced partner for business aircraft operators to prepare them for achieving IS-BAO registration. We shall assist our clients in the entire preparation and implementation process or will perform the final qualification audit.”
AeroEx GmbH, assisting aviation organizations in Europe in achieving EASA compliance, is now also expanding into the fast-growing markets in Asia and the Middle East. An important event in Asia will be the “Finance, Risk and Liability in Aviation” forum to be held in Singapore on Friday May 31, 2013. Organized by the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) together with the Swiss University of St.Gallen's Center of Aviation Competence (CFAC), this forum is intended for air transport financiers, aviation risk managers, aviation insurance companies, attorneys and specialists in air transport companies. AeroEx GmbH will be represented by its managing director Joel Hencks as speaker talking about the challenges, benefits and accountability with regard to safety management systems. AeroEx GmbH will also sponsor this forum.
Joel Hencks, managing director of AeroEx GmbH stated: “The presence of AeroEx GmbH together with its partner CFAC at this event shows the strategic importance of the Asian aviation market for us.”
