Clive Chalmers appointed as Air Partner's UK director of commercial jets

Leading air charter broker and Royal Warrant Holder, Air Partner, is pleased to announce that Clive Chalmers has been appointed UK director of commercial jets. Clive has 16 years' experience in the aviation industry, and 14 of those with Air Partner. With a strong background in commercial jet broking, Clive completed Air Partner's Management Training Scheme in 2010, before taking up the role of UK freight manager, where he focused on growing Air Partner freight's market share. In his new role, Clive will head up the UK commercial Jet division, and support Paul Argyle in delivering the European commercial jet strategy.

Clive Chalmers said, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to return to the commercial jets division, and to support the team in their work to diversify the commercial jet product and focus on Air Partner's areas of strategic growth. This is an interesting time for the division, and I am hugely excited by the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Paul Argyle, Air Partner's commercial jet product director, said, “I am pleased that Clive is going to be heading up the UK's commercial jet division. Air Partner's commercial jet team has been working hard to drive growth in the oil and gas and inclusive tour operators sectors, both areas of strategic growth for the Group. Clive's wealth of knowledge and experience will benefit the team and we're all looking forward to working with him, and building on our recent successes and contract wins in these sectors.”
