FAI’s air ambulance division expects record sales in 2013

German air ambulance operator, FAI rent-a-jet AG (dba Flight Ambulance International) is expecting another record year from its air ambulance division after revenues in the first quarter of 2013 increased by 40% against the first quarter of 2012.

These numbers mean that FAI can anticipate annual revenues of approximately € 30 m (USD 39 m) created by approximately 750 missions, which will reflect an increase of 30 % on 2012.

FAI’s dedicated fleet of ambulance jets includes two Learjet 35 A – XR, two Learjet 55 XR, two Learjet 60 and two Challenger 604s, probably the largest fleet of dedicated ambulance jets in Europe, and these figures confirm FAI’s market position as the largest ambulance jet operator in Europe and also one of the largest worldwide. FAI is expecting annual revenues of above € 70 m (USD 90 m) across the board, meaning that the other divisions (public services, vvip charter, aircraft management and maintenance) should create further revenues of at least € 40 m (USD 52 m).
