Grob Aerospace launches maintenance cost assurance plan for the spn business jet

Grob Aerospace is launching its new maintenance cost assurance plan, which guarantees customers of its spn business jet full direct maintenance cost control. The program is being launched at EBACE 2008, Europe's premier business aviation show held in Geneva.

The cost assurance plan offers spn customers a choice between different levels of protection service to meet their specific needs and to deliver predictable and consistent costs based on fixed rates per flight hour.

Amongst its features, this plan covers spare parts, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and technical publications. While primarily designed to hedge the aircraft maintenance cost, it also maximizes the re-sale value of the aircraft since aircraft enrolled in a manufacturers parts or maintenance program typically achieve higher re-sale prices evidenced by historical pre-owned business jet pricing data.

The standard support service offered by Grob Aerospace's for all spn customers provides a 24/7 technical- and AOG service through the company's Customer Service Desk and field service representatives, a best-in-class standard warranty and a comprehensive website with personalized log-in.

The program offers three levels of cost-protection for the spn:

ß The Basic program covers airframe and avionics parts including consumables as well as worldwide parts shipping of those parts. The program also includes technical publication updates.

ß One step up is the Advanced program, which covers in addition to "Basic" labor costs involved in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, component exchange, and maintenance and spare parts for the cabin interior.

ß Under the top level package, the Premium program, customers enjoy all advantages of "Advanced" plus maximum cost control with the inclusion of engine maintenance coverage backed by Williams International Total Assurance Program (TAP-Elite), developed for FJ44 operators and deemed one of the most comprehensive in the industry.

The program is a key part of the best-in-class customer support service being established by Grob Aerospace for spn customers. The company has assembled a large service center network with experienced partners in strategic locations around the world to provide expert assistance and maintenance together with readily available spare parts.

In Europe nominated partners are ExecuJet Aviation Group and Ocean Sky Jet Centre while in North America partners include Landmark Aviation, Stevens Aviation and Aero Air.
