Associated Air Center (AAC), StandardAero's large transport category vip completions center in Dallas, Texas, has announced that it has received approval as an authorized maintenance organization from the aviation authorities of the Peoples Republic of China, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The approvals allow AAC to perform maintenance and modifications on the aircraft registered to those governments under the guidelines listed therein for each governmental aviation authority. The specific agencies and scope of work authorized are listed below.

• Federal Republic of Nigeria – Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) – Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) - Maintenance and modifications on Nigerian registered aircraft.

• State of Kuwait – Kuwait Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (KCASR) – Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) - Maintenance and modifications on Kuwaiti registered aircraft.

• Sultanate of Oman – Public Authority for Civil Aviation - Directorate General of Safety and Aviation Services (DGSAS) - Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) - Maintenance and modifications on Oman registered aircraft.

• Peoples Republic of China – Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) – Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) - Maintenance and modifications on Chinese registered aircraft.

"AAC continues to be a global leader in completion and maintenance for Boeing and Airbus in the vip completion industry," said Chris Schechter, vice president and general manager, Associated Air Center. "By expanding our base of global regulatory approvals, we provide greater service and support flexibility for our growing global vip customer base."

The approvals were granted in late 2012 and all work will be conducted at AAC's Love field facility in Dallas, Texas. Currently, AAC is pursuing Regulatory Agency Repair Station Approval for the government of Mexico for future maintenance, repair and modification work on Mexico registered aircraft.
