Rolls-Royce launches global services network for RR300 customers

Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, is establishing a new global services network for maintenance, repair and overhaul of the growing RR300 engine fleet.

The RR300 powers the Robinson R66 helicopter, with approximately 300 fielded aircraft operating in 10 countries around the world. The new network will offer operators a regionally located MRO facility, as well as competitive options between the regions.

Hubert Brown, Rolls-Royce, director, helicopter services, said, "This new global services network is the latest example of Rolls-Royce delivering local support to customers for our world-leading technology. The new Rolls-Royce RR300 MRO network will provide efficient and economical service to the growing R66 fleet. These MRO facilities were selected to provide the best options for our customers as the only authorized service locations for the RR300."

Facilities selected to be Authorized Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Centers (AMROCs) include:

Rolls-Royce Brazil - Sao Paulo, Brazil

Aeromaritime Mediterranean Ltd. - Malta

Asia Pacific Aerospace Pty Ltd (APA) – Brisbane, Australia

H +S Aviation - Portsmouth, UK

Premier Turbines - Neosho, MO, US

Standard Aero - Singapore

Standard Aero - Winnipeg, Canada

Rolls-Royce and the AMROCs are completing negotiations and expect to begin providing service to RR300 operators in the near future.
