German jet operator FAI rent-a-jet AG has reported total revenues for 2012 of € 64 m (US$ 86 m) inclusive of operational revenues of € 55 m (US$ 74 m), reflecting an increase in FAI's operational performance of 10 % vs. 2011. At a group level, including FAI Asset Management GmbH and FAI Technik GmbH, thi smeans that the earnings before taxes (EBT) increased to € 4,7 m (US$ 7 m). For 2013, FAI again is expecting increased revenues of approximately € 70 m (US$ 94 m).

FAI currently is operating a fleet of 22 business jets, 15 of which are owned by FAI. FAI is recognized being the second largest operator in general aviation in Germany employing around 150 staff members at its headquarters at Nuremberg International Airport. FAI is operating line stations in Afghanistan, Sudan, Ivory Coast and Senegal. In 2013 FAI will double its hangar capacities by building a new Hangar 7 with a floor space of additional 3,000 sqm.
