Jet Aviation Basel recently re-delivered a Boeing 737-900 to the Middle East. The aircraft was inducted last year for major completions, including the first EASA-certified installation of Honeywell's Ovation Select Cabin Management System (CMS) on a BBJ 3.

Re-delivered in early November, the scope of work for the vip interior cabinet installation was significant, requiring the coordinated efforts of the company's global and multi-departmental team over the completion period. Technicians from Jet Aviation St. Louis were sent to Basel to support the completions project and the company also worked in close cooperation with experts from the Honeywell Ovation Select team.

Jet Aviation Basel is the first company to install Honeywell's Ovation Select Cabin Management System in a BBJ 3 under EASA certification.

Prior to re-delivery, Jet Aviation successfully conducted the one and only shakedown, smoke and long-range test flight to include the Ovation CMS. The highly customized aircraft, including several artworks, was re-delivered to the full satisfaction of the customer.
