ABS Jets has appointed Thierry Barre to the position of technical director, the appointment comes at a time that ABS Jets are further developing their maintenance and engineering services. Thierry joins the company with immediate effect, his extensive skills in aircraft maintenance and experience of working with Embraer aircraft means that his is a seam- less match for his new role with ABS Jets. Key aspects of the brief for Thierry are to focus on delivering value by implementing cost efficient strategies that primarily focus on aircraft safety and customer satisfaction.

Thierry joins ABS Jets after more than 20 years of experience working with Luxair where he spent the last 4 years as Head of Maintenance. Pri- or to that he was Deputy Head of Engineering, a position where Thierry gained valuable experience (to ABS Jets) working with Embraer aircraft & technology. Thierry's career began in the French Navy where he pur- sued studies in aircraft engineering.
