Press Release
Issued by Jetstream Aviation Academy.
December 5, 2012
Jetstream Aviation Academy is proud to announce that the EASA audit and the academy's preparation for the new "Part FCL" was a great success. The standardization team reported "zero findings" for Jetstream, and "full compliance" for the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority.
The inspection was performed from the 20th until the 29th of November 2012 and evaluated the entire range of the Academy's operations from the beginning; as a combined flight training and type rating organisation as well as a FSTD operator. The audit was conducted by the team leader Mr. Louis Ribeiro, and reviewed our quality system, operational procedures, simulators, personnel qualifications, financial statements and projections. The audit was extended to Jetstream's branch in Dubai and assessed the preparation for implementation of PART FCL for the upcoming EASA legislation, where the company proved that is fully ready to comply.
The high score and results received enlist Jetstream among the leaders of the flight training organizations in Europe.
Our thanks to HCAA and especially to Mrs. Athina Marini - head of licensing and Cpt. George Savopoulos - aviation safety inspector for their professionalism, coordination, support and guidance.
Jetstream's chief executive officer John Diskos said, "The audit results are a testament to the great work of our selected staff, the strong oversight of operations and good internal controls fully comply with EASA high quality standards.
