GainJet wins National Champion EBAs

The European Business Awards (EBAs) has awarded private jet charter company GainJet Aviation S.A National Champion of the EBAs 2012/2013 Awards Programme. The awards event was held at the British Embassy in Athens, hosted by H.E Ambassador Dr. David Landsman and EBAs sponsor RSM International, with special guest speaker Greek Deputy Minister of Development, H.E Mr. Notis Mitarakis. Amongst the night's winners were some of the most elite businesses in Greece and GainJet beat stiff competition in order to win this prestigious award - displaying business excellence, hard work, innovation, and superior customer focus.

GainJet operates a wide selection of executive aircraft available for private charter based throughout Europe, ranging from corporate airliners like their VIP Boeing 757 and VIP Boeing 737s to heavy business jets like their Gulfstream G550, G450, and Global Express XRS. The company is also expecting delivery of a VIP B737 with stateroom and a Gulfstream G650 in 2013.

The European Business Awards' esteemed panel of judges thoroughly examined every company competing in the awards competition in order to identify those organizations that exhibited innovation, business excellence, and sustainability in order to award them National Champion. GainJet has the honour of being recognized as such an organization.

GainJet CEO Captain James McBride says, "We're proud to be selected to represent Greece and the BizAv industry as a National Champion at the EBAs. The European Business Awards is widely recognized as the showcase for Europe's most dynamic companies and to be officially identified as one of these companies is an honour for us. We are pleased to highlight the vibrant industry that we are a part of and look forward to the next round of the judging process where we can explain in more depth the dynamics behind our industry and how we are achieving business success in these tough trading conditions."

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards says, "This year, the video element of the awards has allowed our panel of expert judges to gain a much deeper understanding of the business strategies of all the National Finalists. It is because of this that the judging has been particularly tough and this year, perhaps more than ever before, it is an exceptional accolade to be picked as a National Champion. Together with our sponsors and supporters we're looking forward to seeing GainJet in the next round."

GainJet had been awarded National Finalist status in May 2012 after being nominated into the EBAs 2012/13 Awards Programme for Customer Focus by RSM Stylianou, member of RSM International - one of the world's leading audit, tax and advisory networks and a sponsor of the EBAs. McBride explains, "Customer focus is one of the main driving forces behind GainJet and our success. So to be recognized not only for business excellence, but for superior customer focus as well is a major reward for our efforts. We thank the EBAs for this honour and look forward to representing Greece and the BizAv industry in the next round."
