The example of the April 2012 fire in the Moscow-City high-rise complex will be used to highlight the key advantages of the Ka-32A11BC. Russian Helicopters will also discuss other of its models that can be used for firefighting and rescue missions.
The Ka-62 was shown to the European market at the Farnborough air show in July 2012, and now Middle Eastern operating companies have the opportunity see it first-hand at Dubai Helishow 2012. The Ka-62 is the model of a powerful yet economic helicopter that meets the highest standards of aviation safety. It is constructed using lightweight yet highly resilient composite materials, and equipped with Turbomeca Ardiden 3G engines.
The light multi-role Ansat, powered by Pratt&Whitney PW207K engines, drew intense interest at the recent Africa Aerospace & Defence exhibition. Its key advantage in the Middle East is its adaptability to operation in a hot climate.
The modular construction of the light multirole Ka-226T means that it can be configured to carry out a wide range of different missions, while Arrius 2G1 engines produced by Turbomeca ensure exceptional performance. The Ka-226T will be of interest to police forces and companies working in the oil-and-gas sector.
Medium multirole Mi-8/17 helicopters are used around the world. The new Mi-171A2 is a thoroughly reworked model combining the finest qualities of the renowned Mi-8/17 family with new avionics, more powerful engines and a build that makes extensive use of composite materials. Not only is it more economical, but the designers have drawn on years of operating experience in regions around the globe to make the Mi-171A2 even simpler to use and maintain.
This year's Dubai Helishow is the fifth running of the event, which se ts new and higher standards for aerospace shows in the region every time. More than 100 companies from around the world are expected to take part in the show this year.
